Ben D. Arnold, President
Ben is the President of Arnold Companies, which leases and manages approximately 700,000 square feet of office, warehouse and retail space in South Carolina. Ben has extensive experience in commercial real estate development, property tax assessment, and real estate finance. Ben is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a licensed real estate appraiser in South Carolina and Georgia, Chairman of the Richland County Board of Assessment Control and a graduate of the University of Florida.
Jeff Larimore, Chief Financial Officer
Jeff joined The Arnold Companies in 2005. He has a diversified background with public and private organizations with duties and responsibilities that have varied from multi-venture financial reporting and forecasting, property and asset management, acquisition due diligence and financing, property dispositions, development consulting, real estate taxation and retail operations. Jeff holds a CPA license from the state of Ohio since 1988, a real estate broker’s license from the State of Illinois since 2003, and is a CCIM Candidate.
Lori Thorn, Assistant Controller and Director of Human Resources
Lori joined Arnold Companies in 1998. She graduated from Midlands Tech with an Associate's Degree in Accounting. Lori has 22 years of experience with concentrations in the areas of general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation and account analysis. Lori also serves as Arnold Companies and Arnold Construction's Director of Human Resources, managing the overall provisions of Human Resources services, policies and programs for the entire company.
Ted Rausch, Director of Property Management
Ted joined Arnold Companies in 2004 and applies a wealth of experience and training to the asset management and leasing of a diverse real estate portfolio within the Midlands; which includes 43 buildings with 585,000 rentable square feet and various tracts of land. These properties serve approximately 80 Tenants in a wide variety of commercial uses. His experience includes on site management of class A office product; third party and in-house management of retail, industrial, entertainment, and medical office. His experience was tempered during 20 years of successful management, training, and leadership experience in the United States Army. Ted’s formal credentials include a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware, a Masters of Engineering Administration from George Washington University and a South Carolina Real Estate License. As a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) he continues his professional development through active leadership in the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
Shelly W. Little, Property Manager
Shelly Little joined Arnold Companies as Property Manager in November 2011. Bringing over 12 years of property management experience to Arnold Companies, Shelly will be in charge of managing the company’s commercial properties in the Southeast. Before joining Arnold Companies, Shelly spent seven years in healthcare building management and four years in residential, student housing and multi-family property management. Shelly is a licensed broker in the state of South Carolina and working towards her Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification.
George Goff, Maintenance Supervisor
George joined the Arnold Companies in 1999. He is a certified plumber and electrician and has 16 years experience of building construction maintenance.
